This time the love is guaranteed
He gave me a lifetime warranty
He put me out of my misery,
said we're never gon' to be history
And I believe every word he says to me.
This time I just know its right
I can feel it in my bones, his love will never take flight
And even though he might roam he'll be back at night.
No longer will you feel sorry for me,
There's no longer need to worry for me
And I know that you know it's guaranteed
Nothing beats a lifetime warranty.
I will sing it in the rain,
I no longer feel the pain
He put an end to my misery
Now all my tears and my fears are history!
I wrote this poem in 2008 and I have no idea what I was feeling at the time but obviously, I was knee-deep in love. Strangely I have no recollection of having someone special in 2008. I must have been very tolerant back then sha, "even though he might roam" ke? *smh*.
