"I had a girlfriend for over five years and she did more than six abortions for me. Didn't think she could have any children in the future that is why I recently broke up with her. Abeg I didn't want to waste time when I eventually marry cos I'm the only boy in my family. I heard she got naked and was swearing for me in her compound. Please does it work. Can the swear catch me?"
I've often heard of the curse of an embittered naked woman.
Some people have been hurt so much, so deeply, so painfully, and to make matters worse, by someone you love, who told you over and over and over again that they love you too. And isn't that just the worst? Betrayal by a random person or a casual friend could be shrugged off. But when you're betrayed by someone you love(d) so much, someone you've made sacrifices for, someone who put you through things that you accepted ONLY because of the word love, and this same person puts a knife in your heart, and twists it, shredding your already broken heart into pieces. When this happens there is no such thing as "vengeance is mine, says the Lord". You will do your own part to accelerate God's vengeance.
Someone once told me that his family was going through so much. Disappointments, poverty, stagnation, constant failure, lack and confusion, because his grandfather did something ( he didn't tell me what) to a woman that used to live with him, and one night, this woman stripped herself naked, went outside the house and stood in the middle of the compound and cried out curses on him. This young guy told me that it was these curses that were still operating in his family and that's why nobody is experiencing any progress or peace or any happiness in their lives. I'll stop there.
Judging by what this person has said, then that young man up there had better find a way to make peace with his ex. Personally I think he deserves whatever he gets.
Please help me answer the sender's question. I'm curious too.
Have you ever been so hurt by someone that the pain drove you to nearly curse the person? (I know I have).
