Something Called Eddie Justifies Domestic Violence.

Just after seeing this picture of this beautiful model who was beaten to a pulp because she told her Russian millionaire boyfriend that she wanted out of the relationship, I then saw this tripe below:

I keep wondering why some people say ''Never lay your hands on a woman, no matter what they do''. This is really absurd, but the truth is that any man who has never hit his wife, 2 things are involved - it's either he married an angel or he is a wimp.

I know a man who had diabetis and it affected his manhood, at every slight issue the woman will announce to the world that her husband is no good in bed. I know a man who lost his job and his wife called him useless infront of their kids, tell me why he should not slap the hell out of
her. The truth is that women has never been able to handle power and privilege.
Even in the days of Hitler, women reported their husbands to be executed because they had family issues. It is not a new thing that women cross the boundary. Respect is reciprocal, a woman has equal rights as a man,why say or do horrible things you know are hard to endure? Imagine a woman asking a man if he is man enough?

Please babes, be rational with your attitudes. It is not an abomination to beat a woman, however my opinion is that if you beat your woman, will you be able to justify it?

This is specially for those who condemn such acts. But I am here to prove to you that it can be justified in some circumstances. It is not nice to hit a woman, I agree but as they say, it is not right to beat a woman no matter what she does - I can't understand how somebody who was fed on breast milk could say a thing like that. If she slaps your mother, you might as well walk away because you should never hit a woman? Nonsense! Mature opinions,
please.

I saw this on Laila Ikeji's blog and I do not know who Eddie is but I cannot believe that an actual human being spewed such nonsense. Do not jail homosexuals for 14 years. Find this Eddie and JAIL HIM.

I keep asking men that talk such crap; if your female boss pushes you to the wall, provokes you, insults you, belittles you, emasculates you, humiliates you, even in public... will you slap her, will you beat her, will you dare raise your voice talk less of your hand? Why then can't you exercise that same control when it comes to your wife? Bloody weakling!

  2. The guy didn't make his point well. And I agree some people, both male and female need to be beaten.

  3. Thelma, I agree a man must NOT hit his wife. But what about hitting another woman? My neighbour beat a female teacher mercilessly for flogging his daughter in school until she bled...

  4. LOL @Something called Eddie. Thelma, this your temper can fry plantain. :D

Well...when I was little I used to bully my sisters into submission, if you know what that means. Most times I beat them mercilessly, especially when they insulted me. When I was 17, I gave my immediate younger sis a slap that resulted in her left ear bleeding. I was shocked at the sight of blood, my parents were shocked also and my dad was just about to pounce on me but my mum restrained him, took me to her bedroom, and after some serious talking-to said, "Next time your sisters anger you, count 1 to 10 before you react". After that day, I NEVER laid my hands on them. If they angered me, I'll just warn them and move away or not speak to them until they apologized.

I've never supported hitting a woman up till now and I insist there are better ways to this approach. Eddie's approach is a negative human reaction to a negative action. Two wrongs NEVER make a right.

    1. So u were never stopped the first time u hit them? Not until u drew blood that it dawned on everyone? Hmm...

    2. It didn't dawn on them, it dawned on me. I had received serious beatings and other punishments for my actions up till that day, but those didn't change me. That incident was what changed me.

    1. U are same with Eddie, since u r suggesting he should be beaten. In other words u agree that there is justification for DV.

  7. I don't condone domestic violence in any form but there are things that a woman will say or do to you and it's only the spirit of God that will save her. Men do not hit women, women watch yourselves because not every man is patient. Don't be with anyone that has the power to make you violent, it won't end well.

  8. @Memphis, I can relate with how your mum's speech changed you. Growing up, my immediate elder brother used to beat me and my younger brother at the slightest provocation, me especially - I no dey gree, once, I pushed him inside the drainage (gutter) in a bit to avenge one of his numerous beatings and he sustained an injury on his head that our neighbors had to rush him to the hospital. My dad would beat him whenever we reported him, give him series of punishments and so on. Until, one day my neighbor told him ''no matter what your sister says or does to you, your wife might say more. Will you be beating her everyday?'' And that was it.

  9. Violence is for the weakest of the weak. The most insecure and animalistic of the lowest breed of human beings. If you can't restrain yourself from hitting a man or a woman because they insulted you then you are no better than animals in the zoo. This Eddie guy is a primitive, barbaric savage. Haven't you heard men call their wives "barren", "good for nothing", "Lazy cow". Inshort everyday women receive the most insults, "this food is tasteless", "you didn't wash this shirt well", "why didn't you sweep the house well" etc. But u dnt see them going arund beating their husbands. I pray you change sir, because if by mistake of omission or commission you beat you wife and end up in my law court. You own have finish!

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

THE ‘NEW’ SIDE CHICK: I WAS HER

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrée comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrée is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

One More Post...

Shhhhhhh....

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!
