It's so easy to sit in the comfort of one's home in the West and look at pictures of the havoc being wrecked in the North and commiserate and whisper RIPs. We've blamed our government enough, so far the blame hasn't produced any results. I looked at the pictures of today's Nyanya bombing and I knew that it's about time we humbled ourselves and cry out to God as a nation and ask for His intervention. These killings may be political but (in my opinion) everything is controlled in the spiritual realm. So this morning as I go before God in supplication as I do at midnight, I shall put my country first and commit her in prayers to God.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
But even in prayer I'm reminded; Faith without works is dead (James 2: 26);The President shouldn't just "condemn" these killings. He should be SEEN to condemn these killings.
