Random Thoughts I Have When I'm Watching Ebony Life TV.

Do you guys watch Ebony Life?

Watching Ebony Life has become a kind of sport for some of my friends and I. In actuality we didn't purposely intend for it to be one, but when we're together and someone turns the channel to 165 (Ebony Life) you can be sure that the bitchin' will most definitely begin.

These are the regulars on the EL Bitchin' Menu:

General Complaints and Lamentations of how fake the station is.

Why does everyone have phoneh?

Wow, Dolapo Oni is tiny tho..

Why is Lamide's mouth so big?

I actually like Lamide's mouth (I'm constantly 'defending' Lamide's lips)

That Ekeng behaves one kain... Like something that draws, like okra soup (her words not mine)

There's just something about him, he's kinda feminine. (That's me)

Ebuka is aging o!

Is Ebuka shagging any of the girls on The Spot?

Please these people are too fake jor.

Why is this one talking like an ant and what accent is this? (referring to Vanessa Abdullahi, who's no longer on Ebony Life)

Why is Toolz afraid to stand up, what is she hiding?

Toolz is aging o!

Zainab has very kissable lips (That's me *covers face*)

*Yawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn* (When EL Now comes on. Nothing personal but we've already read all the gist on blogs...like a week ago.)

These people don't have any gist abeg (referring to EL Rated. We all love Chigul but that show *cough*)

Mo Abudu has really done well sha.

Please what's with all the gra gra in that advert? All for Fayrouz. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeww

Dolapo must not be happy about Toke Makinwa being on the show; Toke is really overshadowing her.

Please why do all the same actors and actresses act in all the movies on Ebony Life?

What's the real idea behind Fattening Room?

Please who even watches this channel? These people are too fake!

Hia! Wetin concern agbero with overload? This channel na for pesin wen don chop belleful. (When asked if someone watches Ebony Life).

How much are these girls paid to act like fools on National TV (the groupies fans on Tracy Nwapa's reality access on the episodes with Davido and Vector).

Tracy's boobs tho...

I like that Cynthia Kamalu sha...(Me)

Why does Zainab never talk? She's just on the show as eye candy?

Oreka is gorgeous.

Dr Lanre Olusola.... Hmmmm.....  Stop 'hmmmming'. He's married.

People have orishirishi relationship problems sha...
.........

LOL. This is random but hey... Oh, and BTW I kinda like Ebony Life TV.

Comments

  1. LOL...a friend keeps asking me what the fattening room is about, even though I've told her I only watch the channel when I visit her! The programme has been on for years- pun intended, yet no win, no lose, no fattened, no husband (that's what the Efik do when ladies are of marriageable age). Biko they should do and send those ladies to their houses jare.
And yes, why do they all have phoneh albeit confusing! Though I'd say Toke seems to have changed, positively, from her former accentS and the mouth/lips 'swirl' while talking.
The presenters there are doing well. Though I think there's an air of feeling like they're the 'it' channel presently.
In all, EL TV isn't bad.

  2. Would rather oda channels than ebony oh...the only program I kinda like is ojos in the house....the wife's mouth is epic....between I use to even think Thelma has a thing for that ebuka guy...lolz..t tell us oh.....in oda words..won ma wa ok.....that naughty house wife...

    1. LOL. Ebuka is not my type and I have a feeling I'm not his type either (if he dated and was engaged to Lamide as they say). My only celeb crush is one of the guys in the list of my fav celebrity couples, and he's so obviously taken.
Question: is it a sin to crush on someone who's married?

    2. YeaH heard he dated the babe...wonder how they feel comfortable together on air....it's not a sin to crush on someone who is married...it's just that you look for a way to easily get outta it...my one cent opinion oh....that naughty house wife...

    3. Na wa ooo..don't people know when to use "between" and "by the way"? O ga ooo

    4. Anon sometimes a person types btw and the device changes it to between.

    A reality show?

    1. No, it's a channel on DSTV owned by Mo Abudu. It's actually pretty interesting. It's just that it targets a particular demographic and class (IMO) and if you don't fall within them then you may not have a taste for the channel.
It's pretty cool though, it's got some of the Who's Who of Lagos society as regulars.

  8. Lol.Toolz obviously hiding her huge legs. I know ppl will come for me but she needs to lose some weight. she reminds me of one fat woman that fries Akara in my street when I was small, she rarely stands up cos of her huge hips and giant legs.

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

THE ‘NEW’ SIDE CHICK: I WAS HER

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrée comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrée is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

Shhhhhhh....

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!
