Dear TTB Readers...

Please I really need answers, this is becoming a major cause for concern. I know that there's terrorism and the naira has been devalued and there's no power supply and that blacks are being treated like shit (as per usual) and there are no jobs in Nigeria but my problem right now is WHERE IS BAE???

Where is he o!!!

I need this kind of happiness I'm seeing on the faces of Toolz and Mo'cheddar. I went to Ebeano this evening and everywhere I turned all I heard was bae, babe, boo, bae, baby. Kilode?!

Now here's the truth, I don't want just any man; I was a 'bae' (because as far as I'm concerned it's just everyman that fits the 'bae' mold. If he looks like Ramsey Nouah then he's Bae. If he looks like Francis Duru then he's Bobo.) I want a sexy young hunk! Tall rich and handsome. Yes o! I admit it, that's what I want. Yeah of course we all want the whole God-fearing, ambitious package no doubt but I want God-fearing, ambitious, tall, RICH and handsome.

And I know he exists. I know they exist. I see them everyday. I see them with girls everywhere I turn but none of the girls is me. Hia!

And this evening my friend and I voiced out our mutual pain; these girls do not have 10 heads. They don't, so what gives???

So I ask you guys and I ask this seriously; what will it take (for me) to snag one of these guys?

AND What's the best place to meet guys like these? (People say weddings, airports, etc).

Please help me out because I'm losing it here. It's 12am and I can't sleep because I'm wondering what those girls have that I don't. Also, since it's obvious that I've been frequenting the wrong places, what are the right places?

Somebody help me out.

Goodnight my loves. Better days ahead...
La Effizy I'm glad to know that you've perked up and that you're strong. Stay strong sweetness.

  1. I can totally relate. Pls where is 'bae' or where can he be found. T I commented at last lol.

    1. Shamsiyya ya ne? Kina jin hausa in soma maki gulman mutanen mu anan? Buhahahaha

      Sannu da zuwa

    2. Hi Eesah , I don't speak Hausa lol. But I know everyone on the blog. I just never comment. Thanks for welcoming me. 😊

    3. Omg Easah,u sound so hot speaking hausa. Are u hausa or bilingual? Lol...
      Hello samshiya,welcome onboard...

    4. Thanks @ Sasha. I'm not bilingual but mulitilingual. I can speak like 7 diffrnt languages. Do u want me 2 teach u some hausa? Hehehe

    5. 7? Wow,I'll love to learn. Is German among the number??

    6. Shamsiyya commented at last! Easah don't mind her o! She's been reading this blog probably even before you and many others. Lol. Finally.

  2. Ehe oya this boy come n see o! People r looking for bae, ur there jonsing! Imaro na bae di uko! Be there feeling like chocolate till they drop ur ass lik sucked orange! Jee jukwaa ese!
Don't wake me up when u read this *tougue out*

  3. Pls oh take ur time don't let pressure force u do something u will regret

  4. Silent readers, oya o, you have heard. Send Thelma a mail ASAP. :-)

  5. Thelma oooo, lolll. Am sorry am laughing, I know it's not funny but the way you this piece eh? Lol
Anyway I give you am advice my elder bro( married) gave me few years ago, 'your husband is always close to you, wherever you are, whether you stay in gbagada, when u go to ebaeno , in church , at work, everywhere' in other words your husband coukd be in church, shopping at ebaeno, a friend to a colleague at work, the possiblities are endless.

In my opinion you don't have to go to anywhere special because you can meet your husband in a place most unexpected!
Always pray this prayer: God let my husband locate me where ever I am.

    1. Choi! See typos. Pls pardon my mistakes , typed that in a hurry, plus I was almost late for work because of this post. T's blog will not put me trouble. Lol

  6. Please when will Tunde propose to Toolz, i mean they are both doing well and are not kids, i ve bn waiting on her, birthdays ve come n gone still no ring, lemme just wait for Christmas and Valentine. Or is he waiting for her to ve 2 kids first? *rme*

    1. Chei, Ifunanya ooo!

  7. Lol@T u no go kill me, just hope and pray and like trace said, ask God to bring your husband(locate you). And he will. I wish ya wedding bells soon.

  8. Sexy, young, hunk, tall, rich, handsome, God-fearing, ambitious and d list goes on..

T d guy wey go tick most of your boxes ehnnn? I go carry nyansh 4 him. Hian!

Pls T's Bae, do and come quick o, we are all waiting 4 U..

    *lips sealed and watching*

  9. Sexy, tall(dat means taller dan U presume), Dark, Rich and Handsome...Etc.
Thelma thelma, even as a guy I've got same fantasies for my future wife but...
Abeg make the best out of the Man u'll be with dan otherwise.

  10. Toh bae where r u oooo!!!!!! but T u know u can take an average looking man and turn him into bae lool, and if ur bae is too hot how many women do u want to chasing away because everyone is looking for that same bae #prosandcons ;) . All in all God will bring the best that is meant just for u

  11. All I know is bae will not see u in the house.just go out,do ur usual, have fun & u just might see him in the strangest place.
I feel u on the qualities listed jare,God will give u that which u desire.

  12. One more thing T, you have to keep your self busy( I think you are doing that ) you have 'try' to not think too much of singleness , n this is to every other single person who wants to settle down, I read a story once of a lady who was married and wanted to have a baby.

She did everything possible , she met with native doctors, pastors but still nothing till she decided enough was enough , she wasn't going to do any more sacrifices, fast or calculate her ovulation.
She was just going to wait for whenever God decided to give her a child, so she stopped worrying , was happy and concentrated on her job and husband. 3 months after she took in.. So pls stop worrying and relax , he will come.

Sometimes singles be like 'I want to get married' but they hide themselves a lot , like in church they stay at the back and leave immediately after the grace is said, T, join the choir( lol) if u can't do that join the ushers, media team etc, truth is men need to see you particularly in church( you go to House on the rock) I believe they are rich, God fearing men there yeah?

The must drastic one is to relocate or endeavor to spend weekends , holidays out of Lagos , yes o T, your husband may not be in Lagos.

I have an aunt who got married at age 37, as a virgin, it wasn't like men weren't proposing but they all wanted sex before marriage ,it was when her boss sent her to Abuja from Lagos for two months to manage their office that she met her she is married with 2 kids.

T, my prayer for you is by this time next year you and other TTB singles who want to be married , will not only be married but 'una go don chop belle full' amen.

This is my longest comment ever, whew! Now back to work .

  13. Sometimes, what you want comes when you are not searching.......

  14. T don't worry your man is very close just believe God. Lemme share my lil testimony of how i met my man; One busy afternoon my boss sent me to her client's office for a presentation which was for 3 days (btw i wasn't the original person chosen for d job o) see vexing untop the presentation na, long story short on the last day this young guy walked up to me and handed me his card and i gave him mine fast forward 3 months later he called and we started talking and talking and talking lol. He asked me out after 2 months ( rich fine handsome clean dude) sharply i accepted jare and the rest is history lol. He is one of the nicest and responsible guy i have ever met in my life.
Just pray and believe God your man will locate you.

  15. T's bae pls locate her o,Thelma you can actually groom the ones in your life to b all you want and sometimes bae even comes when you are not searching, the bae struggle is real

  16. Weddings definitely ... And I know someone that met her boo on facebook too.. Go out more often...and December is a very busy and promising period of the year too..

    1. Yay! Super S' mama is back on the blog!

    2. December, thinking of joining y'all to Aro. I hope that's promising too. What's the possibility of a Yoruba bae...

  17. Where is bae? *Jamb question* lol T you'll be ai.

  18. Where is bae? Question for the gods *in Olamide's voice*

  19. Thelma I have a very handsome brother, will you like to meet him? Bt he's not yoruba o, Lol! Bae is everywhere just relax and put you mind at rest, be open to every guy who shows interest in you, who knows what will happen. A sister in church got married at almost 40 (don't know the real age) to a very handsome dude and they now have a child. Her parents, siblings and people around her were surprised cos they've all lost hope in her. So relax bae will come when you least expect it.

  20. Try and take your mind off much as you might be happy this thought can cause anxiety and honestly thats not a good thing cos even if God is speaking to your heart about ANYTHING not just marriage you no go hear nada! When you get busy and take your mind off it, it will happen and my dear it might not come in the package you expect but it will be the real deal...all the best deary.....#JoyDaNuGirl

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

One More Post...

He was my coursemate, crush, then my boyfriend.... he was super
intelligent, smart, tall, dark and handsome. Believe me he got
swag, but he didn't seem to notice me. (I'm a nerd but a sassy one
if I say so myself).  So oneday I decided to take it to another level..
After listening to a song "IF YOU LOVE SOMEBODY TELL THEM THAT YOU
LOVE THEM and watching the season film of The Secret Life of
American Teenagers. ..when Amy Jeugerns mum told her "you are only
young once". LOL that part got me.
Hope you know what i mean?

Though I'm okay with chemistry class I approached him to coach me for
the Quiz that was coming up, we found out that we had this
great chemistry between us.. hehehe both the covalent and
electrovalent bonds....

So one thing led to another till one unusual Saturday. I invited
him to my house and he came. The guy got swag, he even came
with a packet of durex condom.
We talked for a while and and and and and and
See how you are serious dey read this story....!

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrée comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrée is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!

Closed Chapter...

Hello everyone, yesterday a friend said to me, Thelma I love your blog, I've told so many people about your blog, I think you're a very good writer but I feel there's something you're not doing right"

This friend was the first person who won our beauty of the day contest back then in 2014. Then we had met just once through a mutual friend. I mentioned the blog to her and she became an instant reader. I wouldn't have exactly called her a friend then but yesterday as we sat down waiting for our Uber to come get us from Wal-Mart, she's definitely my friend and I knew she was coming from a good place when she said she had much higher expectations of my blog.

Me too.

But you see, in the last year or so, maybe even longer than that, I haven't felt much joy in blogging. It began to feel more and more of a laborious chore, one which I hardly reaped any fruits from.

I really love writing, I love sharing my life and my experiences with others and I've enjoy…
