#PrayForNigeria

First off, doesn't it make you wonder, that barely hours after these terrorists attacked the Charlie Hebdo office they were "taken care of", but Boko Haram has been terrorizing Nigeria for years and they only keep multiplying in number and getting more vicious?...

When I heard 2000 people were killed I never quite took it seriously, it had to be some error, or perhaps I misheard? It turns out I didn't. 2000 lives were lost, and as though that wasn't enough female suicide bombers seem to be the new trend as they blow themselves up and others around them. And while the terrorists are terrorizing, vandals are vandalizing; party offices and party buses and who knows what next? Still our leaders are mute.

17 people were killed in the Charlie Hebdo office and yesterday I watched world leaders link arms in Paris, along with millions of others, as they marched against terrorism, presenting an image of courage and unity.

How come no one's saying anything here? How many more lives do we have to lose in Nigeria before something is done?

  3. I strive not to dwell on this too much as I am sure I would not be able to function if I do.

Unfortunately I am not voting but I am praying. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, prayers does work.

PLEASE, if you are voting, vote wisely. Gite rightly....lets not sell our future for a morsel of meat or on the altar of tribal or religious sentiments

  4. They should hold all the religious, ethnic and wealthy northerners. They are the ones inciting these people to kill themselves. I ask the question, how come Boko Haram hasnt gone to bomb in the Delta or elsewhere? Its not about prayers, the North just wants the presidency and they keep arming these fools to kill other Northerners.

Jonathan might not be the best president, or is an obasanjo presidency that goes in and cleans out am entire village a better approach? I am actually still wondering, because it appears that unless the North is in the presidency we will not have peace. Last i checked Nigeria isnt comprised of just the North.

  5. I'm too sad to think or write properly on this issue.
All I know is, It's about time the world comes to its end...

  6. I cnt rap my head around it, Nigerian politicians are just about power and money n dnt care abt the pple,we just have to keep praying n hoping on God that it will stop but then again its signs of the end time I guess,I wonder y Nigeria thou

  7. Its really bad but I bet you the same Nigerians crying about Boko Haram will still go out on feb 14 to press their thumbs under the umbrella sign. The greatest mistake anyone can make is thinking BH is a political issue. It is not abouut politics but something deeper. Let's keep deceiving ourselves. The west knows how foolish we are and that's why they are not marching for anything here. We cannot stand up for ourselves but expect others to stand up for us and die on our behalf. Smh

  8. When there is a syatem where the life of a human being is equivalent with that of a chicken/rat...what you get is 'no response'...we have no value for life in Nigeria...those in power dont have that at all...and that is why when there is news that even 10 pple have been innocently killed...what we get is a statement that 'we will make sure those responsible are brought to book!'....if the so called 'book' of justice existed in our system i am sure it will still have all its pages empty as no one has been brought to it!.....its so sad....may God please help us and deliver us....we are so tolerant to a fault..#Idontirefornigeria...#feelinghurt.....#JoyDaNuGirl

  9. Please VOTE wisely, very important. I'm sick and tired of being a 'Proudly Nigerian'. Out of Pride I have to be ashamed to call GEJ my President and to think he wants to come back for another Term just speaks volume of how Rotten this Government and everyone in it has become. I Hate this...

This is not abt South or North or East/West. I dare to say that these massacres(the number is ridiculous, 2000? Wow this is a Genocide) wouldn't have taken place if it were OBJ (damn sure), these precious souls who entered the new year with Promises and ambitions have had their Dreams Cut off by A Fucking Government's Ineptitude. I'm so pissed off, it cud have bn me or U. Thank God we are alive to Make a change. This is Democracy not Autocracy and I see everyone in this country as having the Power to make that change that we need. I don't care if Buhari has to become the President so far this Fucking ShitHead leaves that post.

  10. My vote is my POWER and I will make it count. 17 people died in paris and over 1 million people have marched to protest. 2000 people have died in Baga yet My president is going about his presidential campaign like nothing has happened. 200 and something girls are still missing and GEJ tells me he has a plan.
I'm saddened by this event and because of that i want a president who considers the death of one Nigerian to the death of 10 Nigerians.
God we pray for your divine intervention

  11. Unfortunately even a Buhari presidency isn't what we need, and I soooo want Jonathan to leave. It's sad that the APC brought in a candidate that also has very very little to offer.

I don't know what to say. Honestly I'm so enraged I want to go out to the streets and do something about this.

People are just dying like rats without dignity.

Even the Boko Haram members captured have been released. No scape goat to show the world that we are serious about this issue.

I weep deeply for Nigeria. It's not about prayers, it's the people that need to sit up. Faith without work is useless. We can pray from now till eon years, nothing will happen if we do not act.

I hv been battling to get my voters card, the stress alone has made me tired of everything sef. Clare

  12. The first bomb blast saw Henry Okah arrested and is currently behind bars.
Has anyone tried to arrest ISIS and it's members? Has the president of the country where ISIS is based arrested any ISIS member? Didn't BokoHaram start out before ISIS? Why is the US govt taking them more seriously than they are taking BH? Do they know more bout them us? Afterall they are the ones (BBC & CNN) who broke the news of the 2000 Baga casualties before our local authorities/media houses...
If I remember,he quoted: an attack on BH is an attack on the north. That's the same tribalistic statement that resulted in the civil war (thanks to BBC)

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

THE ‘NEW’ SIDE CHICK: I WAS HER

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrée comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrée is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

Shhhhhhh....

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!
