Guys, I was Catfished. No, it wasn't as extreme as the above but let me ask you this;
Assuming you started chatting with someone on a social network platform, for instance facebook, bbm, Whatsapp and you both really hit it off. You guys have an instant connection and you go from chatting to talking on the phone. When you've both noticed the mutual attraction you request to see more pictures of them, as the only one you've seen is the one used for their profile, which does not give you much to "work with".
They send you pictures which you quite like, even though your fondness for them has nothing to do with the pictures they sent you. You spend a lot of time with each other on the phone and begin to become quite used to them and dependent on their phone calls, so much so that you begin to picture a life with them.
Finally you both decide it's time to meet in person and you're very excited. You show up and you're jittery with anticipation. Then someone shows up "claiming" to be them and it seems someone is playing a prank on you. Where is your darling friend? This is not your darling friend!
But alas, your excitement plummets like a punctured parachute as you realize that this person is the same person you've become so fond of.
As they chat excitedly, you're overwhelmed with disappointment and confusion. This person is not at all what you expected, you don't like what you're seeing. Yet, this is the same person you have come to like and depend on.
(If you've been chatting with the guy in the first picture and the guy in the second picture shows up) What would you do?
