I couldn't stop laughing @ more hair than balls. Smh. Kola Boof...
Some weeks ago someone commented saying women should stop praising men for their numerous sexual conquests while slut shaming themselves for doing the same, I paraphrase. Basically women should have one night stands and "own" it.
I'm all for doing whatever makes you happy provided you're not hurting someone else. But I can't help but feel sorry for you if you're hurting yourself. Without speaking from an unbiased, unreligious, 'unmoral' standpoint, I fail to see what's liberating about casual sex and having multiple sex partners.
Pleasurable, yes. Exciting, yes. Memorable, yes. Liberating, no. Empowering, no. Fulfilling, no. Contrary to what some might want you to believe, sex is not just sex, sex is complicating and complicated, well except you're a sex worker... And I don't want to get started on why women hurt themselves more when trying to outdo men in the body-count department. I mean, I understand that for some people gender equality/feminism is about beating men to their own game, and doing just about anything men do. But if this includes debasing your body by sleeping with every Tochukwu, Demola and Hakeem, just to prove a point, then you're really not very smart. We should be holding men to higher standards, and demanding that they live up to those. Not stooping to conquer in order to be equal, while inadvertently yet consequently making yourself 'less than'...
I'm really not writing this to preach or to call anyone out, I wish I could claim to be a saint, alas I can't! But I read Kola Boof's tweets and I couldn't help wondering how this woman's mind works. She's famous for many things, especially screwing a ton of men and making so much hullabaloo over it. She couldn't shut up about sleeping with Djimon Hounsou while he was still married to Kimora Lee, and gleefully shared with the world about an earthshaking unexpected one-nighter, among other sexual escapades/partners she's had.
Some have alluded that they're not 100% certain about the woman's mental wellbeing. I don't know much about her mental health but from what I glean, in her head its very laudable and actually glorifying for a woman to sleep with any man of her choosing, no matter whom, where or when.
Quite frankly we're not animals and I think anyone, male and female, who freely shares their bodies with everyone and anyone brings themself down to the level of animals, having no control over their impulses, no boundaries, or no knowledge of what's right or wrong.
But that's just my 2cents. What's yours?
