Since the moment I heard about Neyo asking his baby mama to get her tubes tied after giving him two children, shortly before he broke up with her, which I heard he did in such a heartless manner; over the phone and then publicly announcing it on Instagram, I haven't be able to quite forget it.
I mean, how do you get someone to do that for you, someone who isn't even your wife! And you, why not get a vasectomy? After all it's you who doesn't want more kids, right? And you're the one with the sperm, why don't you get snipped???
Now, Neyo has recently happily announced to the world, via Instagram, that he and his current girlfriend and wife to be, are expecting a baby!
Eishhhh! As you can imagine he got mad backlash from the public. The people aren't finding this news funny.
Well Neyo hit back saying she wasn't forced to do it, she agreed to it. Also, that the procedure can be undone. He however didnt point out that that procedure comes with a lot of health risks, which might include permanent damage to her Fallopian tubes.
The world is enraged with Neyo who claimed he was breaking up with his ex because monogamy just isn't for him. Well hello? Now you're about to get married and have more babies?
Yes I'm mad as hell at him.
But let's look at his ex too, Monyetta Shaw. Why make such a huge step for a "boyfriend"? Why didn't she ask for a ring first? Why didn't she ask him to get snipped instead?
Who is actually worthy of blame here guys?
Really though, why is it the woman that always has to make the huge sacrifices; give up our names. Get married and pack up our things; lose our jobs and friends and move. He doesn't want more kids, it's the woman that ties her tubes (yes i know married couples who have agreed to do this. I've never heard a Nigerian man getting a vasectomy such injustice!!!). I don't gerrit. And please girls you need to stop making marriage sacrifices for your boyfriends dammit!
LOL. OK, Blame game guys, who do you think should get the heat?
Last question. When kids aren't wanted anymore, who should make the move. Should the woman tie her tubes or should the man get a vasectomy?
