These Blog Readers Need Your Help.

1. Good day Thelma,  please I need the help of your readers. I am looking for a nursing home in the eastern part of Nigeria for young girls who are pregnant till the person gives birth, as her home environment is hostile. Thanks for advice.

2. Please Thelma, where is the best place for such lady to go to. She has been a victim of domestic violence and now her husband has threatened to send her away without their children. He has even gone to some human right body to try and claim the children alone. Please where can she go to get help in Lagos? She is willing to leave the marriage but she wants to take her children with her. Ps: her husband is not very fit to be a father and has not even been able to maintain any job, also please she cannot afford a lawyer or representation so we will appreciate somewhere that she won't have to spend too much money. Please do you know of any NGOs in Lagos that can help her maintain custody of her children if he sends her away?

Please if you have any helpful suggestions please drop them in the comment section or mail me;

  1. Number 2. OR Office of the public defender, it's on Findhorn Williams avenue, close to Stadium in Surulere.

  2. Number 2. OR Office of the public defender, it's on Funsho Williams avenue, close to Stadium in Surulere.

  3. Office of the Public Defender on Iyan road, after stadium. There's also Project Alert but I don't know their office. The OPD will remove the children from the man and provide legal representation. It is FREE.

    The lady in the East, unless you are a human trafficker, don't involve yourself in young pregnant women issues. The best you can do is direct them to the State Welfare Board. When they give birth, direct them to a family planning clinic.

    While you have good intentions, you are only aware of YOUR intentions. You may provide housing and care, but what happens when one of the girls decides it's lucrative to sell the child? And is caught. She will name you as her benefactor. Don't involve yourself in such. Just offer kind words and no more than that. In time, you will realise these girls true intentions.

  4. The lady in the East looking for a place for young pregnant girls. Camera is watching you from afar. Go ahead in beating that your drum, sooner than imagined, your dancers will come out with handcuffs. Have you not heard of what happened to baby factories in the East?. Maybe you are one of them, maybe you have ran out of pregnant girls and need more that is why you are advertising in blogs. Keep beating that drum, You will soon see what you are looking for.

  5. Why do I have this feeling that he's going to want your twin sis as the third person.
    That man got u real baaad. He's given you everything u used to lack or crave for, so that when he ask for/demand such (and other things that will definitely follow), it would be difficult for you to refuse him.
    ...and by the way why do u need any advise when obviously you've decided to do it. Enjoy whole heartedly.

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…
