Would You Try This?

This beautiful lady got married yesterday and it was interesting reading the comments. One person said "Oh this is so beautiful and creative", another wrote "Abeg I wouldn't try it. What's so creative about this?"

When you've attended a lot of weddings you'd notice that couples (read brides) have their own peculiarities and different preferences.

What's one's Must Have is another one's Absolutely Not

This wouldn't be the first bridal party I'm seeing arrive in a Keke napep. For most you know it was kinda a necessity (I think). But it's obvious that this bride here had this prearranged, her preferred choice for a bridal entrance.

So what say you, yay or nay?

And while we're at it, what are your wedding Must Have's and Absolutely Not's?

  1. I can't do this, the weather is just too hot. Don't want to arrive my own wedding all sweaty and uncomfortable

  2. I go with the first comment (both in the article and the comment section).

  3. I think I'll look for something more creative and comfortable than Keke maybe a horse and Carriage. Anything could go wrong in the keke, she could rip her gown while trying to alight, or even worse.

  4. Maybe she met her husband in a Keke. Or maybe the guy proposed to her in a Keke. So Kekes have played a significant part in her life. Because..I dont get it. The weather is hot and its not that comfortable.

  8. I wouldn't. It's not even creative.
It's risky...what if I get a headache from the stress of the wedding, coupled with the bumping the keke would cause? what if someone hits the ride and I hit my head? What if one person rides speedily on mud beside the keke and my clothes and shoes get stained? What if one high agbero on the street drags, crumples and stains and my clothes out of excitement?

  9. Nay! I don't think it's cute or creative. Cute for me is something along the line of steele's comment.

As to must have and must not have.... I'm generally undecided. When I get to that bridge......
