A Very Heartbreaking Account Of Domestic Violence.

WTF did I just read!?

What I don't understand is how someone can endure this for so long. I have a question for DV victims, isn't the beating painful? The kicking, the flogging, the injuries... Are they not painful? Like, even if mentally or emotion you cannot leave, e no dey pain una for body? Is the pain not enough reason to make one run away? I just don't get it... I sincerely pray this lady finds healing. Her mind and soul must be severely battered by now.

  1. Either this is a story from a very creative mind or the guy is indeed a psycho. How exactly do u get razor to cut off someone's nipple? Who/what influences these things?

    1. Same thoughts here but I have a case close to this except there was no razor involved.
Had to help the woman escape, her cries at 2am was enough to empty my pockets. She is safe and happy now.
Nobody should stay in a violent situation.

    2. 50 shades of grey influences these things

  2. This is a very stale story o Thelma. In surprised you're just seeing this.

The first time I read this story... I felt like reaching for the writer through my phone and giving her a big shake!!! You know that kind of Shake that would set all your faculties in place and restore you back to default setting(God's original plan)

I felt so bad that some people are in such horrible situations and they honestly and sincerely believe that they deserved what they are getting and their life is that worthless.

A goat shouldn't go through half of what this woman went through... Not to talk more of a woman!!!!

Today as I Reread the story... And I got to where she was asking God for a sign... I actually laughed out loud. But the truth is when your self worth and esteem is non-existent, the way you think/view situations would be very faulty.

This is really sad. I wish I can reach out to people like this and help them in anyway that I can.

  3. ++ I sincerely hope someone made up this story. I pray it is not real and this didn't happen to a human being like me

  4. Seriously! I have no sympathy for this lady, none at all. She walked into that situation herslef. You know you're beautiful so it's not like you are 100% sure no man wants you, yet you stayed in such a relationship for years? I will never understand this.

Why are you even leaving with a man that isn't your fiancΓ© much less a husband? So much so that he beats you if you don't serve his food on time. This doesn't even make any sense.

Infact, the more I think about it, the surer I am that the story is made up cos it's too ridiculous to be true. What on earth!

  5. The lady and the man are a mentally deranged pair. 6 years of perpetual hell on earth, and you're telling beelzebub in human form to speed up marriage plans? You went back after you've been ridiculed, dumped and replaced? You're asking GOD for a sign while even performing illegal wifey duties under HIS Nose (the obvious insult)? I'm almost certain GOD laughed. Some people truly deserve the pain they get, 100%.

  6. Like sunshine said, I feel no sympathy at all, absolutely none. I hissed at the end cos her story hasn't ended, she'll still go back and maybe next time she won't come out alive. That will be her sign. Death! Namsenz

  7. This is a rude and crude reminder to us parents. We need to instill good morale, confidence and kindness in our children - both male and female. We need to teach them how to be dependent on themselves and not on any other, be it partner, spouse or whoever. We need to teach them good standards so they do not have to allow bull crap from any shitty, mentally disturbed animal in human skin. We need to teach them self-esteem; the fact that they are more than a mere sex object and the fact that when someone leaves their life, it simply means more room for a new, better person.

Correcting ds tins start from the upbringing. Aw can a man be so heartless, sb born of a woman. Well, I know it's possible he ddnt receive d right home training, it cud as well be d overbloated ego of some guys.

And aw can a lady feel so worthless of herself?

  9. Is dat Wale i see? Our same old Wale if he is the one, Welcome back and i have misssseeeeedddddddd your comments so much.
After reading this all i could say is Lord have mercy. Please ladies let us all work on our esteem, once we know what we are worth we would know, no man cant treat us like dirt. As a matter of fact, its better to be alone and happy rather to be in such an unhealthy relationship. Worst case is the psyhco of a man in d story, his Waterloo is definetely just around the corner...

  10. You guys are harsh here. Its not as simple as it seems.

The women that go through these kinda things are manipulated mentally. They have been made to believe that their future, their lives and happiness is tied to the man. Its kinda the same thing when you are stuck on drugs, of course you know its bad for you but the way it makes you feel is what keeps you there. The men brain wash them into thinking no one will love them more and life will be worse without them.

The orientation, back ground, up bringing, exposure and other things play a major factor in how women fall for such. So dont be too quick to judge the women, its more of mental bondage than physical bondage.

    Peace.

  11. Welcome back Uncle Wale.

Domestic violence is real. This case above requires a beain reset.

  12. Oh my goodness! WARRISDIS? Ds babe ne'er had self esteem from the outset. A stingy man I can manage (if I've to), an unfaithful man I can endure (if I've to), but a woman beater? Mbanu!! God knows dat.
I really pray for healing on ds ladies and for dem to be able to pick up and start allover.

Ds just reminds me again of how very important our formative years (very young/tender age) is. Train up a child in d way dat he shud go,and he'll not depart from it. Self confidence and self esteem shud really be imbibed in the girlchild. #LordhaveMercy

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

THE ‘NEW’ SIDE CHICK: I WAS HER

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrΓ©e comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrΓ©e is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

Shhhhhhh....

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!
