Musings.

Hello good people. I just got back from my morning run and while on the trail I had some random thoughts run through my mind. I'd share them with you.

-We see quite a number of twins marrying twins. Is it really possible that both pairs of twins are in love with each other, or do they just seek out a compatible pair of twins of the opposite sex and marry them just to fulfill a twin fantasy? Or isn't it likely that one twin is in love with another twin, and they hook their twins up with each other so that they can all just get married? Besides isn't siblings marrying siblings like an errr, abomination in some places?

-Are those tweets circulating the Internet really about Ebuka Obi Uchendu? Like is he really gay? Did Cynthia really catch him during their honeymoon sexting with his gay lover? Did his family really give her the go ahead to date other men since their son is gay? Or is it about another couple entirely, who's someone smiling happily that someone else is getting the heat while their secrets stay hidden? Or is the whole thing even one big lie? How is Cynthia coping with this public humiliation/ridicule/mess/horror barely days after having a baby? 😟

-Just asking ladies, can you marry a bisexual man? (The thought actually doesn't freak me out, provided I know before we get married, I think...). Err, we all pray for a loving, caring and totally faithful husband, but things are happening these days my sisters. So I'm wondering; would you rather the hubs cheat with a guy (πŸ™ˆ) or another woman. Which would hurt less?

-What is Genevieve Nnaji doing right now?

-Isn't religion man-made? How are we so sure it's real? Why do we believe that heaven and hell exist when no one has ever seen it, after all we were just "told". Yeah it's in the bible but the bible was written by people. Is it really fair that someone never asked to be born, was thrust into this world and then given a set of rules to live by, and then gets punished by fire for the rest of eternity if they refuse to live by those rules, when they didn't ask to be here in the first place?
Is there really life after death? Is reincarnation real? The bible says after death comes judgement, what happens to those who were reincarnated, were they judged and allowed to come back to the world, or they were not judged at all?

Sigh... So many musings.

Please pick one or some or all and discuss. Let's unravel this together. 😊

Comments

  1. I'm done with 'religion', anyone that wants to kill him or herself because of it, na them sabi. I freaking annoys me Mehn.
I have a friend that bears a Muslim name but a Christian and when discussions involves religion she still feel like she's more special being a Christian(thereby castigating the former), I don't understand, but u are bearing a Muslim name still. Stop confusing everyone. Sigh*

Since I'm a guy, if my wife cheats on me with a girl... Her punishment is a threesome.

  2. I'll pick the religion question. Nne,believe me that Hell is very real. Was walking out of the church and the heat emanating from the ground was scary...lol

On to serious convo,Christ is the end of the law. Anyone who's still operating under old testament laws is OYO (on ur own). If as a long practicing Christian you donno what Love is and the scope of it,you need some deep questioning..

  3. Religion is a sham! If the missionaries didn't tell you there is an almighty that does magic, wud you all have known what God is? Religion shudnt be preached to you, it shud be experienced. Do you need adverts about water quenching thirst if u can simply drink the water and experience it? Believing in Religion whether Christianity, Islam, Hindu is like believing in magic and I don't believe in magic! Pastors know this, they know their healings and fake miracles dont work but since the church is making them quick cash, they continue. Wake up ppl.

  4. Thelma, it isn't Cynthia that caught Ebuka, it was another lady. Her husband and Ebuka are friends and Ebuka was one of his groomsmen. Apparently, Ebuka is the groom's gay partner.

  5. Can i marry a bisexual as long as i know beforehand? HELL NO

  6. People sometimes have doubts about religion but my faith and conviction keep me grounded when such thoughts arise. I'm a Christian so I believe in God and his word, I strive to do His will and make sure I stay focused on worshipping Him and not my pastor. On marrying a bisexual man, I know the reality is things are happening but it doesn't have to be my reality,I can't live with it at all.

  7. I'm really sad about the ebuka/gay gist. Ebuka and his wife have been the centre of cyber hate and bullying from the moment their engagement was announced.
I really feel sorry that they have to go through this bullshit just days after welcoming their 1st child- a time of great joy for most people.
From what I gather. ..it''s the purported gay partner- yoye banks whose wife's family is in the know. The wife allegedly said her husband's gay partner was one of his groomsmen who just got married early this year...so people put 2 and 2 and assumed it was Ebuka.
Ebuka and Cynthia come from very traditional igbo families.
I'll advise them to stay of social media completely and revel in the joy of the birth of their newborn.

  8. Alright
On the twin ish; I think it is very rare to see "four" twins that got married because "they" were in love.

On the bisexual ish - Come on I can't imagine my boo going down there with the same dick he put in a man's ass so he better cheat on me with a girl so that I will know it is a girl that I am contending with instead of a man so nah it is not my reality and won't be my reality.

Hmmmm on the religion ish - I only believe in a supreme being.
I don't know why people worship their fellow human beings.

Anyway ndi igbo kwuru okwu si na - onye aghoburu ka agbaa

  9. bisexuality(or any deviation from being straight) is an anomaly. The world can evolve all it wants but these pervesions remain what they are, anomalies. It is very unnatural to suggest that the rest of the world should in the light of the evolution condone them, and the open defendants of those with such sexual orientations should be put in a spaceship (filled with combustibles just to make sure) and shot into space to better the world.

  10. If I were Cynthia, and I knew Ebuka isn't gay, at least to the best of my knowledge, I wouldn't be bothered.
A lot people gossip too much and a lot have the intent of pure concocted slander. I've seen it myself to get sad about it.

God and religion isn't a lie. And if it be so, and we found out at the end of life, a truly good Christian (I'm sure about Christianity is about), would have nothing to lose, but if we lived life recklessly, then there might be a lot to lose.

Turia Pitt Suffered 65% Burns But Loved Conquered All...

Amazing Story Shared by Dr. Ben Carson on Facebook, i thought it is inspiring and i decided to share;

The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery.
Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:
"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."

This made me very reflective. I just wonder; if the person you love today encounters an incident or accident that transforms who they are physically, it could be amputation, it could be paralysis, it could be severe burns that scald their flesh beyond recognition, w…

Good morning people!
Just checking in to sign the register. Lol. It's been a very busy week and it looks like it might be an even busier weekend. I was hoping to get some writing done when I got to the airport yesterday but I even almost missed my flight. It was hopeless trying to do any work on the plane as it was bumpy af, and this toddler behind me wouldn't stop screaming in piercing shrieks like he was being exorcised.
I got into town pretty late and needed to keep an appointment ASAP. I'm heading out right now and it's going to be a long day, but thought I should drop this first.
Have a splendid day. Im'ma be back soon.

THE ‘NEW’ SIDE CHICK: I WAS HER

A side chick is commonly known as a mistress or a woman that’s romantically involved with a man who is in a committed relationship.  However after doing some reflecting, I realize that’s not the only type of side chick.  I want to discuss “the new side chick”–a woman who decides to stay by a man’s side after he has expressed his lack of relationship intentions with her through his words or actions.  So many women have made this mistake at least once in their lifetime, and unfortunately I’ve done the same thing. I like to think of the new side chick as an appetizer.  You’re there just to satisfy the immediate appetite of the man, but as soon as that mouth-watering entrΓ©e comes out to the table, you will get pushed to the side, literally.  Why?  Because that entrΓ©e is what he really wanted; he went to the restaurant to order steak, not hot wings.  You were just a placeholder, fling, temporary commitment, or  maybe even just a “good ol time” until what he really wanted was presented to hi…

Shhhhhhh....

I'm in an amebo mood tonight. Don't ask me, I honestly don't know why. Also I'd like to share too but I'd do that anonymously in the comment section. Tonight I want to talk about secrets. It's ok, we can all be anonymous.
Is it true that EVERYBODY has a secret?
Is there anyone here who doesn't have a secret? I'd really like to know; You're a completely open book and there's not ONE thing about you that you wouldn't mind other people knowing about? Please raise your hands up.
And for the rest of us, what's something about you that no one knows, or very few people know? Who's got a dark secret here, or a weird one, or a funny one even? I really don't mean to be invasive but I don't want to be the only one sharing, plus I think hearing other people's secrets is quite fun, don't you think?

Let's Be Random Together! (Open Keypad).

Hey guys, a while back blog reader F said something about creating an Open Keypad post, where you can write whatever you want in the comment section. I thought it was a fun idea!
So who is interested? Comment on anything you feel like, ask me or anyone a question, talk about how your day went, your job, your interests, tell us something about you that we don't know, share a testimony with us, rant about anything you feel like, talk about your crush/boo/spouse/relationship/marriage, challenges you're facing, ANYTHING AT ALL!
I'll only make one request; that we stay civil.

(F it was you who made this suggestion, right? I'm not too sure and I can't even remember the post the comment was made on).
BTW please Ejoeccome out come out, wherever you are!

Question of The Day.

TTB readers doesn't this tweet below remind you of something?
That mail that someone sent me a few weeks back.
But why on earth should a man sleep with his son's fiancΓ©? But what am I saying, some men even sleep with their daughters...

Oh well, I'm throwing the question to you. What has happened in your life that you never saw coming, you never hesperred it, you never imagined could happen, you never imagined could happen to you?
It could be good, it could be bad, it could be ugly. Do tell!
And it can be more than one. Let me tell you a few.
-owning a blog -week long dry fast at Prayer City (I never hesperred it).  -staying in an (emotionally) abusive relationship.
The others require anonymity. LOL. Now over to you.
